We will thoroughly examine your eyes for any visual deficiencies and ensure your overall ocular health is great. This includes examining the surface of your eyes as well as a dilated eye exam.
There are several modalities of contact lenses, and we will be happy to work with you in deciding what is best for your optimal vision and health. We can also teach you how to insert and remove contacts from your eyes if you've never worn them before.
Several eye diseases are detectable upon a comprehensive eye exam, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, etc. We will treat your condition or we can refer you out for the appropriate care.
Dry eyes result from the chronic lack of lubrication on the surface of your eye, which can cause minor to major irritations, an inability to wear contact lenses for an extended period of time, and an increased risk of corneal inflammation and eye infections. If you are having to focus at a computer for several hours a day and feel a burning sensation in your eyes by evening, it is likely that you suffer from dry eye syndrome. We can provide you with the proper treatment.
Your optometrist can help you with red eyes, pink eye, crusting of the eyes, pain, soreness, ocular foreign body removals and several other eye emergencies.
Astigmatism is a very common eye condition that's easily corrected by eyeglasses or contact lenses and on some occasions, surgery. If left uncorrected, it can cause symptoms of blurry vision at distance and near and headaches.
It is very important to get your child's eyes examined at a young age. If blurred vision goes uncorrected for a long period of time, it can result in permanently reduced vision. We will also examine your child's eyes for amblyopia (lazy eye), eye turns, and pediatric eye diseases.
Does it seem like your arm isn't long enough anymore for you to read the newspaper? If you find yourself having to push back reading material to see it clearly, it may be that you now have presbyopia, which is a normal aging process that affects our eyes' ability to focus on objects closer to us. We can help you read comfortably once again.
If you're ready for an alternative to glasses and/or contacts look to us for co-management of LASIK, cataract, and other ocular surgery. We also co-manage glaucoma surgical cases.
